Promoting a Safe Workplace
ARTISTA’s Health and Safety programs builds on our commitment to reducing risk and dedication to our guiding vision. We value our people by embedding safety every time, with everyone, in everything we do.
By Adding Environment and Quality to our Health and Safety program, we are ensuring consistency across the globe by establishing minimum requirements and guidelines, and working towards global ISO certifications.
We continuously evaluate opportunities to further our impact, progress towards goals, and drive continuous improvement.
Our Approach
We strive to minimize risks and ensure that our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) system supports a positive culture focused on protecting our people.
Each one of our professionals is responsible for promoting a safe workplace, not only for ourselves, but also for anyone potentially affected by our activities, in addition to proactively identifying and managing risk and stopping work if any safety concerns should arise.
Our HSEQ approach is based on our Significant Risks Framework, underpinned by three pillars: Leadership, Behaviour and Risk Management.
Setting expectations and shaping behaviours to create and sustain a culture of safety.
Fostering a culture that embeds safety within the hearts and minds of everyone.
Implementing robust processes and tools to conduct high-quality risk assessments.
Our Significant Risks Framework is also centered on nine
lifesaving actions to help concentrate our efforts in areas
of high risks, such as heights and working around mobile plant.
Our Performance
One way in which we are continuously improving our performance is through increased incident reporting. In addition to sharing lessons learned from H & S incidents, we have significantly increased the reporting of positive observations as a way of shaping our H & S culture, incorporating best practices from across regions into our program, and driving improvement.
ARTISTA is committed to achieving a globally consolidated ISO certification, through centralized HSEQ Management System, by 2026.
