Specifically, they are committed to UN's two breakthrough goals for the global built environment: all new and refurbished buildings must be net zero in operation and achieve at least a 40% reduction in embodied carbon by 2030.

The 17 SDGs

The SDGs, also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
